Climate-change is no more questioned. It is real. A huge challenge we believe we can win before it's too late. Time is short and we need to act now.

“Mallorca Goes Green” is an action-oriented movement with a proposal to make a Mallorca free of carbon-emissions. Our definite goal is that the electricity consumed on the island should come from renewable resources by 2018. Some might say; ”That's not realistic.” Our response is: “Are we really being realistic if we don't make these necessary changes?" Besides, what makes us think we really have a choice?

We share the same view as Al Gore, Nobel-prize winner and leader of the ecological movement “We can solve it”. If there is a will there is a solution. This can be done within 10 years.

In a perfect world Mallorca would lead the way in showing that it is possible to become ecological, that going green is good business, and by making our island as sustainable as possible we are safeguarding the prosperity of the island for future generations. The consequences of climate-change are truly a concern.
